Prior to creating Digital Butter, Sarah co-founded full service digital marketing agency Refreshed Media back in 2003.
With a passion for digital marketing and a drive in her tummy to start her own business, Sarah created a cutting edge agency that would go on to support some impressive brands including BBC, Comet, Cunard, Peugeot, Boots and Taylor Wimpey.
As Sales and Marketing Director, Sarah grew the business from a start-up position to a circa.£2.5m turnover national company. Sarah completed the sale and earn-out of Refreshed in 2009 to the Emerge Group with a multi agency turnover of £50m. Sarah remained a Director of Emerge until 2012. Since then Sarah has been sharing everything she’s learnt about growing a successful agency through strategic consultancy work. Outside of Digital Butter – Sarah has two beautiful little boys, a handsome husband, chickens and two cats (one of which is pretty ugly, we’re not being mean – check out the photo!)
